materials and innovative construction, the Cervelo S5 Ultegra Di2 Disc Road
Bike is one of the quickest options available when animating vicious sprints,
surging on lone breaks or thundering along in the local chaingang.
With its advanced carbon construction and aerodynamically
sculpted tube profiles, the frameset of the S5 is laterally stiff, comfortable
and incredibly aerodynamic. The innovative V-stem and svelte handlebars combine
with the fork’s head tube shroud to lower drag further. Increased comfort and
lower rolling resistance can be experienced thanks to the frameset-to-tyre
clearance for up to 28mm wide rubber.
The carbon rims of the Reserve 50mm wheelset use their
sophisticated profiles to slip through the air with heightened stability, and
these are driven by the accurate and reliable Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic
gear configuration. The chainset receives a professional touch by way of an
integrated power meter, and this allows the rider to track their performance in
races and key training sessions. This chainset spins with significantly reduced
friction thanks to the CeramicSpeed bottom bracket. Shimano Ultegra hydraulic
disc brakes complete the build by donating their modulated stopping power to
any weather conditions.
