Granting versatility, comfort and speed, the BMC Roadmachine Four 105 Disc Road Bike is a solid choice for riding the longest of gran fondos, tackling the roughest roads and charging along in the local chaingang.
The frameset boasts a laterally stiff but light carbon construction that surges up climbs and punches through sprints. This efficiency is complemented by the seatstays, fork and seatpost that have Tuned Compliance Concept carbon layup schedules to result in plush levels of comfort across the most broken of surfaces. Despite being a quick racing bike, an endurance-inspired geometry blesses the Roadmachine and places the rider in an ideal position for even the longest of days in the mountains.
Tyre clearance for up to 33mm wide tyres allows broader, quicker and more cushioned rubber to be used while the Mavic Open wheelset is light and strong for a reactive but assured ride experience. Stopping accurately and with composure, in any weather conditions is no problem for the Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes. The matching Ultegra gear setup flicks through its ratios with precision to find the perfect cadence no matter the topography.
